Money Talks. Let’s Make Them Listen.
Text: BLK + GRN Your dollars hold power. For ONE day, let them feel it. Friday, February 28th - The Economic Blackout Begins. Yes, we're a marketplace. Yes, we want you to shop Black and live green. But today, we're asking you to pause. For just ONE day, you can make a statement they can't ignore. On Friday, February 28th, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM:
- No shopping. No spending. No swiping.
- No Amazon. No Walmart. No McDonald's. No major retailers.
- Keep your dollars in your pocket-or spend ONLY at small, local businesses if absolutely necessary.
Why? Because power concedes nothing without demand. For 24 hours, you take control. No spending. No swiping. No shopping. Just collective action with one goal: to remind them that your dollars have power. And if they ignore? We push harder. One day becomes two. A ripple becomes a wave. Frederick Douglass once said, "Power concedes nothing without a demand." Today, we are that demand. Stand firm. Stand united. This is only the beginning. The bigger the impact, the louder the message. Will you commit? Will you share? Pass this on. Our numbers hold power. Let's use it.
